Charles Kolawole Aiyedun has demonstrated expertise in finance operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic banking projects across Canadian and Nigerian financial institutions. As the V.P. Finance & Information Technology at Blue Nord Energy, he established all finance and Information strategic policy documents for sustainable business operation frameworks. At TD Bank, he automated fixed asset system maintenance using macros, saving 720 monthly operational hours. In Nigeria, he implemented regulatory compliance systems that facilitated the timely submission of over 280 financial reports for Titan Trust Bank and Diamond Bank. As a key finance team member, he contributed to Titan Trust Bank’s breakeven and profitability in its first year through effective credit management, liquidity monitoring, and budgeting, achieving a FY2019 PBT of USD 2.3 million.
He also played a critical role in the successful merger of two banks, leading synergy tracking and due diligence, which resulted in approximately USD 520 million in revenue, the highest in the region in two decades.
He is an accomplished Finance Business Analyst and ERP systems expert with extensive experience across banking, public sector, and energy industries in Canada and Nigeria. He combines advanced data analytics, Power BI reporting, and regulatory compliance skills with a deep understanding of financial planning, risk governance, and process optimization.
